		<description>Very interesting and easy tip. I would imagine (for the procrastinators among us who don&#039;t want to call the city) you could try the leave out method and if it still has the chlorine taste you have the chloramine rather than chlorine. Correct?

		<description>This is true for some cities, but not others.  If the water department uses chloramine to treat the water, then you can&#039;t just let it sit out.  Chloramine is more stable than chlorine and doesn&#039;t just evaporate overnight.  You can call the local water department and they&#039;ll be happy to tell you.  Or if you have a friend that is into aquariums (not me) or brewing beer at home (me!), ask  them, they&#039;ll know.
