Huh? Sounds crazy, but it’s true… one Skoy cloth can take the place of 15 rolls of paper towels! These powerful little cloths have so many amazing qualities; I think I’m in love!
We all know we use far too many paper towels. Wipe down this, clean up that! Even if you use a recycled brand, it can get a little excessive (and expensive) and they get thrown away after only one use. Sponges are another household supply that is essentially useless. Everyone knows that, after even a short period of time, they get disgusting and flat-out “schtanky” (yes, that IS a word… when the stink goes BEYOND stinky!) And that smell just let’s you know that bacteria is growing in abundance!
So let me give you lowdown on Skoy Cloths (if you haven’t already heard of them!). These fabulous little cloths are 100% biodegradable because they are made from a natural cotton and wood-based cellulose pulp. They are chlorine-free, use water-based colors and dry quickly so they don’t breed bacteria and they can be used again and again and again. They’re essentially packageless because they come bound only by biodegradable raffia. (And they’re super cute too!)
When you need to give them a little refresher, just pop them in your dishwasher or microwave them while they’re wet for a minute or two. And when you feel like they’ve reached the end of their life, they can be composted (they break down completely in five weeks!) or disposed of. That’s a LOT more environmental than 15 rolls of paper towels, wouldn’t you say?

These sound worth trying. If you just can’t give up sponges, try pouring a little white vinegar on the sponge, enough to saturate it but don’t leave it dripping, and put it in the microwave for one minute. This will get rid of nasty smells and germs. And even when you can’t stomach using it for dishes anymore, it can go to bathroom scrubbing duty. I get a lot of use out of my sponges this way.
I’ve been wanting to try these, I’d love to give up the rest of the paper towels I use (I’ve cut down a lot using reusable rags, but still use occassionally!)
I would love to win a four-pack!!! and I would put them to immediate use in cleaning up after my husband! He’s a Bounty guy and he might as well just use money to clean up the spills!!

I already have given up paper towels, and these look like a great alternative to using regular cloths! We go through mass amounts of cloths to clean up spills from my 3 kids. It will be great to cut back on laundry!

ive been eyeing these for months!! I have been using our old cloth diapers. i would love to try these!!
Would trust 100% anything Doreen backs so I would love to give these a try. Found that alot of microfiber cloths just cause streaking and don’t hold up well. Would love something that really worked so I could decrease my use of paper towels once and for all!
