Black Friday… I NEVER shop Black Friday! Instead, I celebrate “Buy Nothing Day”. Every year. Period.
I know, I know… the sales, the excitement, the tradition. I simply choose to spend the day NOT spending. It’s a great reminder that we DON’T need to spend obscene amounts of money, rise in the wee hours of the morning and push and shove our way to luxury items that aren’t even needed, if we really think about it.

Hello. I would like to give this bottle to my father-in-law. I can no longer stand to look at the mounds of neatly stacked cases of Aquafina in his garage every time we go out to visit him. He really needs this to awaken his mind as to how much he is adding to landfills and pollution. If I just go out to buy a reusable bottle he will just throw it to the side, but if I say I won it to help convince him of his adding to the global epidemic he will be shamed into using it… Thank you.
I want one, which might go to my wife, but she’s finicky about her water bottles, so I’ll take it if she won’t.

My wife, a most green MOM uses a plastic water bottle but is too much of a tightwad to buy an aluminum one (I am too!)
