Get to decoratin' those bags! :) Honestly, I think decorated paper bags are even more thoughtful, don't you? And I think the kids will love the books too. I'm hoping to do something similar for our kids' birthdays in January... I want to find a little "recycling" or "earth" book for the favors, as opposed to all of those awful plastic trinkets made in China!!! OneGreenMommy – Definitely! I have this package of 100 brown paper lunch bags that just won't go away. I bought them with a similar idea in mind for my son's birthday party goodies, and we just decorated them. Now we decorate them for various purposes. So much better than the cellophane. I also love the idea about the Scholastic books for the tots.
