It can also increase during nighttime hours when less water is being used and the pressure increases. So while you sleep, your water bill could be drastically rising and you could be wasting crucially important water.
[...] Water wisely – it won’t make your lawn greener but again, if you must water, actually water the lawn, NOT sidewalks and drives! Just pay close attention not to water wildly and prevent waste. [...]

Shari - thanks for another great list! Conserving water is SO important and there is so much we can do to make sure that happens!

Jim - yea, unless the level keeps dropping!... but last time I checked, it wasn't looking so appetizing either!

When the water runs out, we'll just go get a bucket and go down the shore of Lake Erie. Hey, an advantage to living in Cleveland! :)

Living in Arizona we are always trying to think of ways to save water.

I had seen a site put out by our local Arizona Dept. of Water Resources with 100 ways to save water. I pull this up and check it out every once in awhile as things are always changing. People have a tendency to slip back into old habits. The listing can be found at: http:

//www.adwr.state.az.us/dwr/Content/Find_by_Program/Drought_and_Conservation/Water_Saving_Tips/default.htm

I also got on my work last week as the have the automatic sink faucets that shut off after you are done, but seems they are still running 30+ sec after you walk away. What a waste.

sharis last blog post..<a href="http://sengelmohr.blogspot.com/2009/02/recycle-money.html" rel="nofollow">Recycle Money</a>
